This "It is dangerous in deep water" installation was designed for a museum in the city of Tainan in Taiwan . It was shown on two big flat screens in a single room. The topic of the exhibition was “reading”. Now this project is installed at the art museum in Taipei.

This interactive project was made for the University of Artis in Linz/Austria and it is programmed in MAX/MSP with CV-Plugins.

Function:
Your mouth is tracked with a webcam or a digital camera. Every time you open your mouth, a sound with a granularsynthesis will be generated. The volume will be generated how wide your mouth can be opended. Simply you do not have to sing anymore to create your won opera!
